Everything seems to be going wrong. Life is constantly mistreating you and no matter what, nothing seems to get better…

Despite your circumstances, the problem isn’t the world, its inside of you..
Now you may be thinking “geez that’s harsh” but just hear me out for a minute. The world as we experience it has a direct correlation to the world we have going on within.
What you focus on is what you’ll create and how your mind thinks, translates into reality. These two principles not only mold the mind but your life as well. How the brain thinks, the world is.
Now I’m not implying that if you think positive 100% of the time that nothing bad will ever happen to you, it will because unfortunately that’s life. But, if you choose to adapt a more positive mind by focusing on positive things, you will inadvertently start creating a more positive reality. The bad won’t seem as detrimental.
Think about the phrase”was it a bad day or a bad few moments that you focused on throughout the day?”. Usually it is the latter, people spend so much time getting caught up in that one thing that they let it derail their entire day. Most of the time the ‘bad’ thing or moment isn’t even that serious. How many times have you found yourself more upset about being a minute or two late or that traffic is taking longer than usual? Sure no one likes being late or stuck in traffic but did anything terrible occur?
If you want a better life, you’ll have to start with the inside. Changing the mind is like learning to ride a bicycle, it’s hard to get started but as you keep at it, you get better and better. It is important to note that nothing will change until the mind does. In order for you to start changing your mindset, you have to want it and be willing to work for it.
How To Change The Mind
To get a more positive and healthy mindset you must fill the mind with things that are going to facilitate that development.
There are some great books that I have read that have helped me along my journey. You can also listen to these as audiobooks. Here are a few that I’ve read and recommend:
Podcasts are another great way to absorb enriching content. Here are a few stations I listen to:
Need a mentor but don’t know anybody around you that can help? You can start with Youtube! These are just some of the great Youtubers that are motivational.
Healthy lifestyle habits, such as eating nutritious rich foods and exercising help release chemicals in the brain that promote positive thinking. Saying positive affirmations everyday when you get up and before you go to bed feed the subconscious mind with positive energy. Yoga and meditation are good methods to help promote peace and calm the mind.
Don’t wait until you feel like it, just do it!
That right moment isn’t going to ever come because it doesn’t exist. Make the change today to start seeing massive changes down the line. Take it one day at a time, one step at a time. The changes will be small in the beginning but it’s still a change! Imagine where you could be in 6 weeks just by implementing one of these strategies today.
